Comparison Table Regarding the Amendments Made to Our Legislation by the Law No 7226 and Law No 7244 During the Covid-19 Pandemic
As a result of the impacts of COVID-19 in Turkey, a pandemic started from the city of Wuhan of China on December 2019 and recognized as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11 2020, the Republic of Turkey has taken comprehensive measures regarding the pandemic.
Within these measures; (i) The Law no. 7226 Regarding the Amendment of Certain Laws (“Law no. 7226) on March 26 2020 and (ii) The Law no. 7244 on the Mitigation of the Impacts of the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak on Economic and Social Life and on the Amendment of Certain Laws (“Law no. 7226) has entered into the force with the publication in the Offical Gazette on 17 April 2020.
